WHAT TYPE OF FITNESS EXPERIENCE DO I NEED TO JOIN A CLASS —
None at all. You don’t need to be in great shape to come get in great shape, right? Arrive early for your first class, arrive early any time you need to chat with your Trainer, ask questions, push yourself on the days you can, and (most importantly) always give yourself credit for showing up.
Expect to feel challenged during your first class as you learn to train your body in a way only experienced at Icon. It will take you about 4-5 classes to get used to our equipment, our training styles, and our studio.
Our classes are adaptable to a variety of fitness levels. Your trainer will provide options during the class, but remember to grab the lighter weights when your body asks you to, or take a water break if you just need a second.
WHAT’S THE DRESS CODE —
From the bottom up:
Clean indoor runners are required in Strength class, runners or grip socks are required for Rebound, grip socks are required for Reformer. If you need, the studio offers a small selection of grip socks for purchase.
Athletic leggings, bra top, tank, tee.. it’s up to you. You’re going to sweat, dress accordingly ;)
style tip: we don’t recommend wearing loose-fitting shorts for Reformer

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE —
We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes prior to your class start time. This allows you to check in with our Front of House team, get set up with your equipment, and take time to turn off the outside world.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING —
Please bring:
appropriate footwear
a refillable water bottle
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I ARRIVE —
When you arrive please check in with our Front of House team. If it's your first time here we'll take you through the essentials to make sure you're ready for your first class.
Please secure all personal items in our lockers prior to class. We want to ensure that the workout space is kept clear for equipment & easy movement around the room.
Fill up your water bottle, grab a sweat towel, and head into class to find your spot.
-
HOW LONG UNTIL I FEEL LIKE A PRO —
Not long. And trust us, it’s ok to feel awkward at first. Once you know the drill you’ll be showing up for class with more pep (& confidence) in your step.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY NEXT CLASS —
Book your next class as soon as your leave your first class (AKA before the soreness sets in). The best cure for sore muscles is movement. Get in a walk, do some gentles stretches when your muscles are warm.. but keep showing up to class!
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I ATTEND CLASSES —
Our classes are designed to compliment each other & to help you reach your fitness goals. We encourage you to work up to attending classes 4-6 times per week, jumping into all three class styles as your schedule allows. Give yourself grace and take rest days (they’re just as important as workout days!).
-
CAN I BOOK A PRIVATE CLASS —
We offer private group classes for groups of 4 or more. Classes are customizable to your group's fitness goals. Contact us for pricing details and to book.
At this time we do not offer individual private training.
-
HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK—
Our classes can sometimes get busy and you may see a Waitlist option when booking. As clients in the class choose to cancel, those on the waitlist will be automatically added to the class.
You can remove yourself from a waitlist at any time. Once you’ve been move into the class from the waitlist our usual cancel policies apply.
Tip 1: The waitlist will move the quickest the actual day of the class. We suggest packing your runners before you leave the house in the morning as it is likely that you will make it off the waitlist as the day goes on.Tip 2: Our waitlist will only work up to 6 hours before the class start time (as our cancellation policy is also 6 hours!). Didn’t make it off the waitlist? Check the app… if there are any clients who late cancel their spot in class, their spot will open up & can be snapped up!
Tip 3: Book your classes early! Our booking window opens 7 days ahead of today’s date.
